Fandango cross

Finally the Fandango cross is finished!!!

Here are two of them which I made to double check (2, double - get it?) the pattern.  I hope I've written it in a way that is easily understood.  Geraldine did it perfectly and the only 'real' addition is the ring on chains which form the centre.  She'd got the stitch count right on that too.  The biggest 'hassle' was writing the 'ins' and 'outs' corners but I think it's OK now.

These two are worked in a number 40 thread and measure from top to bottom roughly 7" which makes them (in my opinion!) too large for bookmarks but just right for framing and displaying - if that's what you like to do!!!!  Well, here they are!

I have said it before, this cross makes me want to tat! Could it be the perfect pattern for folks who love working in fine threads, like size 80, but hate teeny, tiny bookmarks?

Oh my Tat Days To Do list demands I wait to try this, but the waiting is agony!

Thank you so much for sharing.

Looking out some thread now. As Isdihara said perhaps it will be good for size 80 threads. Thanks for working it out, on my list to do.

Those a really lovely, Jane. Btw, what colors did you use? I really like that combination

All these comments about Tat-Do lists has really got me considering to start one myself.

I think I'll go right now and prepare one... I'm sure it will be a mile long by the time I'm done!

Wow, Jane, those crosses are beautiful. You do such good work and make such wonderful designs...I am envious. But, I can't think ill of all that talent in one place because you share! Thank you, thank you!

Glad you're settling in, Sunela - that's a loooong way to move. Lily the colours are an HDT for the variegated one and a VERY old (maybe even 50!!) Coats plain. I'll look up the name of the HDT later for you.
