Final mat!

Well as you all know I'm not at home at the moment.  I'm in Atlanta with a dear friend who has been daft enough to put up with me (and Sally!) for a few days.  Later today we travel to Tat Days at Toccoa.

This is the final mat which is with me and I've been invited to teach this small motif at the Palmetto Tatters Guild meeting next week.  This simple motif does involve a couple of techniques which I want to show people so I'm delighted to have this opportunity.  So, the Garden Wall Motif finally will come into it's own and I bet you're all glad to see the back of it too!!!

This is wonderful! It looks like stained glass! I love how the black makes circles when they are put together like this. Amazing!

Lovely. Looks like a piece of stained glass. Will you be posting the pattern after Tat Days. I will be there up there tomorrow and for your pendant class but will not stay for the meeting later that week. New Technique! I am all up for trying new things. See you this weekend.

I am so jealous that every one but me will learn this at Palmetto.

I'm not glad to see the back of it -- I want to see more! It's wonderful. Wish I was going to be at Tat Days.

Somehow, I knew you were going to go with a star shape after yesterday's post. I love it!

Glad to see the back of it????? Are you daft? I can't wait to see the pattern! Will it be on the Tat Day's CD?

Not sure Miranda as I'm not teaching it until next weekend. I'll probably get it onto my site shortly after we get home, though.

Really, really beautiful! I've been following the progress, but didn't imagine the end result turning out so beautiful and interesting.

This is the most beautiful mat I have ever seen..... it looks like stained glass combined with a "grandmother flower garden" quilt.....the pictures though lovely, do not do it justice.....I was lucky enough to see it in person at Tat-days and I fell in love with this pattern....
