Here's the link to the finished technique page for Lock Chain Block Tatting.
I hope you enjoy doing this as much as I did. At the top of the page is a sneak preview of a pattern which I've been working on. Well, actually, I've got two that need the pages finished off. Just need to give brain cell 3 a kick up the 'you know what'!!!!
I've also listed some more Wrap It, Flip It and Mark It bookmarks in my Etsy shop. This time they are seahorses!!!
Finally please check out the TIAS blog where you'll see number 107 from Mary Jo. It's worth reading the link I've put on this post too.

Looks like a great technique for you to come teach at Shuttlebirds next year. :-) What do you think?

Thanks Jane, and BC3. This should be fun to use as an alternative to the plain block tatting, it will add an extra dimension to patterns.
I like the sneak peak, and will be waiting for the whole thing.
Oh I agree with Patti. It would be lovely to have you teach this at the Shuttlebirds Workshop next year. We need new techniques!

I agree with Patti! You should come visit the Shuttlebirds next year. We would love to have you. (Tugging on your coattail begging.)

Sweet seahorses!! :)
Thanks for the technique page. I must try it sometime. The bookmarks with the sea horses look delightful.
I've heard WONDERFUL things about you! It would be great to take a class from you at the Shuttlebirds Workshop in Spokane, WA in 2014! It's great that an art like tatting continues to evolve with new techniques and methods. While books, blogs, and websites are great, meeting and learning from someone live is the BEST!
Yes, Jane, it is time for you to come and visit your West Coast/Northwest fan club - and teach at Shuttlebirds! We really are just as friendly and hospitable as the East/Southeast crowd. This technique, or any other. The important thing is to come. Please promise to think about it.
Ummmm, hmmmm, do I get the impression that I'm being ganged up on here by the Shuttlebirds 'gang'?!?!?!?!?!? I'll bear it in mind for 2014, you lovely people.
I am late to gang up on you, but it will be ABSOLUTELY GREAT if you will come and teach at Shuttlebird's Workshop. PLEASE, PLEASE, PRETTY PLEASE!!

Good Morning .
My name is Paula and I'm Portuguese.
I'm starting out in the art of privolite but I still do not know how to do a job without being by video.
would it be possible to make a video for my step-by-step seahorse?
February 7 we have the tradition of the day of the friends and I really liked that my youngest son would bring a souvenir to his friends at school. thanks
Good morning, Paula. I don’t do videos of my patterns. All of my work is free and you can find it on this site http://www.janeeborall.freeservers.com
The seahorse pattern is here http://www.janeeborall.freeservers.com/SeahorseMed.pdf and I think you’ll find it pretty easy to follow from the text and the diagrams. If you need extra help please contact me - my email address is in the profile on my blog.
