So, after the earrings that I showed you here I can now present the bracelet to match. Well, not quite a match as I didn't have enough of the beads that I used on the earrings!!!!
My stash of beads is quite considerable but finding the 'right' ones each time means I tend to use the same favourites! This eventually leads to a dearth of the favourite colours - time for another look in Ebay, I think!!!
I'm going to start doing the drawings for this soon and once I've made a few of these bracelets (with adjustable clasps) I'll put some in my Etsy shop. They'll have to be a tad more expensive than my usual 'stuff' as they take ages to make (nearly two evenings which is about 6 hours) and are (as you can see) 'bead hungry'!!!!
Question is - how much do you think I should price them at? I find it SSSOOOOOO difficult as I rarely sell stuff - it gets given away or thrown in a box!!!!

It looks a lovely bracelet, but i got a black and white picture so i cant see the colours. you can never have enough beads, as my husband has discovered, At the moment I can't pick up things that drop very easily and he hates picking beads.
I find it hard to price up bits I have made, at times it can be dependant on what people will pay, working out how long something takes to make and the price you paid for the stuff to make it, is not easy.

Hard to give the real price for a piece like this! So much work and so much concentration needed! Just multiply the hours by 8 and it is already too expensive in the eyes of the possible buyers...
Pricing is so difficult certainly you would never get what you put into it. What a lovely bracelet though, wow!
Pricing is such a difficult task! Considering the time it takes to make them, I'm sure they'll be a bargain no matter what you charge.
I just took a quick look at my prices and thought about the time you spent and which ones I make that take that long...adding in the extensive beadwork and I think you can put it somewhere in the $50 range. If your clasps were sterling, you could up that as well. Of course feel free to ignore, pricing is very personal as we all want to get paid for our work in a different way.
Thanks TotusMel. That's a lot of money but I'm sure you're right. I just may try similar ones at that price - just to test the water. I've got to make some yet, though!!!! All the beads are included in the tatting so thankfully there's no sewing to do!!!
