I saw my friend and gave her the bracelet that I showed you here. Problem then was that I liked it so much that I decided I couldn't live without having one of my own!!! So, off I went to make another bracelet but this time for MEEEEEE. Here it is below.
AND - just to prove it - I've added a picture of my friend's below.
Now, what shall I do next? Well back to the TIAS again, I think. I've got to a sticky part so it's been put aside for a few days.

I always buy two gifts as well, for friends - one for them and one for me!
I like your brown bracelet very much.
Two lovely bracelets, the colour will go with any outfit, lovely combination

Ah, good to treat yourself! Lovely colours.
We would have believed you you did't have to take a picture:)
I love it when I give a friend a gift that I want for myself. However, I think I would have chosen blue. ;-)
I am often torn between just keeping one I like for me or giving it away -sob - to it's intended recipient.
Because I can't seem to tat the same pattern twice in a row very easily, I have to do without. Poor me!
It was the same issue with that second sock in the old days! Glad you have your own bracelet!
Fox : )
Glad you had enough beads to make a duplicate! What a great bracelet, and the clasp is perfect. I wonder when tatters figured out that beads and tatting were perfect for making jewelry. You have certainly been a 'pioneer' !
When I started tatting I can't remember seeing any patterns with beads. When I 'needed' eyes for earring critters I used beads!!! They do appear in books though can't remember which ones or when. Not very often, though. I 'grew up with' the Coats leaflets and they weren't on there. Maybe I 'got' them from Rhoda Auld's book. Mists of time springs to mind!!!!
The bracelets are very pretty. Please tell me again where you get those kind of fasteners. I haven't seen them here or in the north western USA.
Oh, Mad Tatter, they came from America!!! I was given one lot by one of my students last year and another lady got me a few too. I've a feeling it they might have come from Fire Mountain Gems.
RE: the sticky in the TIAS, maybe you should avoid the glue if it's going to be sticky.
Sewicked - I officially declare that you're a silly moooooo!!!
