Plodding along

Things have slowed down considerably with the patchwork but that’s mainly because it’s a long way round on what is probably the final row.
I say ‘probably’ because I’m not totally sure that this will quite fit and it may need an extra row on each end.  Whatever happens it’ll then need to be backed and that’s going to be another challenge!!!

My book arrived and now I understand how it’s done! Your table cover is impressive, did you buy all the fabric especially for this, or was it already in your house, waiting to be turned into this wonderful, piece?

Thanks, Diane.
Which book, Maureen and no not a penny was spent on the cloth. I had all the fabric in my stash and a lot of it was picked up from freecycle too. Other people’s ’not needed’ things can become valuable to somebody like me!!! I didn’t realise how much blue I’d got in the stash and there’s still oodles left too!!!

I like it, it's going quite well! The backing doesn't have to be patchwork too, does it?

No it doesn’t and won’t be, Lavinia. I need a change of scenery!!!!
