My favorite was an indigo blue, small rib corduroy; and it did have pockets! I was 14 and I loved that jacket.
If I were a seamstress, I'd make a really cool vest to decorate with tatting or a long-sleeve jacket/blouse that I could decorate. Jackets & coats are too heavy for me (I'm always too warm)
I do envy your skills. In a nice way.
XX Bev aka ridgetatter

can't get blogger to let me in; does not like my password tonight...Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27740357.post-77062779654460277482008-11-06T23:17:00.000+00:002008-11-06T23:17:00.000+00:00Very nice jacket Jane, can't wait to see you model...Very nice jacket Jane, can't wait to see you model it for us!!SYhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14852916214173531486noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27740357.post-40613807755038134422008-11-06T21:19:00.000+00:002008-11-06T21:19:00.000+00:00I love a good automatic buttonhole. I also miss the hemming stitch of my old machine - but I rarely make clothes these says so it seemed a waste.

I also have to have pockets on everything!Ginahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17127914310809216760noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27740357.post-45714305376397932342008-11-06T20:26:00.000+00:002008-11-06T20:26:00.000+00:00I got in! It will be lovely to see it in all its glory when it is finished. I have always liked pockets too, and always try to add pockets to anything I make. I do mainly machine embroidery on my machine these days, perhaps it is time I dug out a pattern and had another go. Thanks for inspiring me.
JaneHillside Threadshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05723222077662455117noreply@blogger.com
