And the picots lengths in the pattern are challenging, as I see they had to be long and consistently so, particularly at certain parts, or the pattern would be too scrunched up. You did a great job - even 40 years ago you could certainly tat up a storm!
Fox : )Foxhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12889386206601730189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27740357.post-73223641214132205092011-04-20T14:55:49.545+01:002011-04-20T14:55:49.545+01:00Good Morning Jane,

I know when I learned to tat over 20 years ago I was so frustrated with patterns that had mistakes in them. I was to new at tatting to realize it was a mistake until it was too late in the pattern to pick it out. Thank you very much for all the work you put into your patterns, which I always feel are so easy to follow the pattern and diagram!!Carol Schockling Laweckihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00118585525880689940noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-27740357.post-20689474364316047792011-04-20T11:34:36.794+01:002011-04-20T11:34:36.794+01:00Your doily is beautiful! Your doily looks gorgeous and thank you for sharing a piece you tatted so many years ago. Tatting has changed so much over the years and the threads we can now get is a great improvement.
MargaretMargarets designer cardshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07649752567816134409noreply@blogger.com
