Bored with the Flurry pattern!!

I knew it would happen - I got bored with the Flurry pattern!!!

So with shuttles still 'sporting' a few yards of the metallic I found a clear cabone ring and made this!!!!  Have you seen it before?  If so then please let me know!

Update on our local postal problems.  After no post for two days we got two deliveries of letters today.  These are at least two weeks overdue.  Later some neighbours got some of the small packets which are still 'stuck in the system' and the postie said that things were probably slightly worse up at the local sorting office!!!

  1. I haven't seen a design like that. And hey, who says you have to give the same snowflake to everybody?

It would make a lovely Christmas wreath, by adding a few more red beads perhaps.

  4. Now you've gone and done it... where am I going to find clear cabone rings? I've only ever seen white... and it looks like I'm going to have to buckle down and learn to be consistent with split ring and figure out how to use beads (after I find where I stashed them!). Of course all of this will have to take place after Thanksgiving! Thanks for inspiring me to think about new ideas, Jane! ...even if I never get around to trying them! ; )

  5. Very pretty, Jane. I love it when you get bored. It usually means you'll awe us with something new.

  6. Wonderful . This could be done over a regular ring and be equally as (IMHO) pretty as well for those who have trouble finding the clear ring.

Eliz has a good point... boredom becomes you for it makes for terrific ideas for Tat-land!

  8. Very Nice Jane, your little brain cells are always working to come up with something new.

tough that your postal system is still have clogs, now it is getting into the heavy mail season, hope it won't get worse, you might not get your mail all cleared up until sometime in 2011. best of luck that occasions with deadlines will be understanding when you haven't received notice.
