Do you know what really, really, REALLY makes me totally angry?
I'll tell you. People who can't read my patterns. They're tatting away and then see they've made a mistake. That's after all the hours and hours I spend doing them and THEN they have the nerve to complain. Complain to ME. That's right - they complain to MEEE. MEEEEEE the best thing since sliced bread!!! HOW DARE they?
Who is it who has upset me? I'll tell you and I hope you'll send her to Coventry.
It's MEEEE who has upset me. I can't STAND it when I can't even follow my own patterns and then I complain to me! I was working on the sheep yet again and mis read it AGAIN and in the SAME place!!! I drive me MAD!!!!!
OK, off to Coventry - I'm not going to speak to me again all day!!! I'll speak to everybody else in tat land but just not ME!!!
Here's the offending sheep who's now eating grass in Etsy.

At least you won't have far to drive yourself to Coventry!!!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care, safe journey!
Anne
But if you go to Coventry we'll never know what the TIAS is! Anyway, that sheep looks perfectly nice to me.
ReplyDeleteOh dear Jane you are in a pickle, I cant see what wrong with the sheep, I am sure you cant have done a big mistake only a little one. It wont take you long to drive to Coventry and enjoy a few hours relaxing in a tea shop, or shopping before you pick up the sheep again feeling refreshed.

Oh, the sheep itself is fine - well, as good as it's gonna get. It's my reading of my own patterns that's the problem!!!!
ReplyDeleteSheepie looks perfect - worth the effort. You could even make him in black......I agree, no-one is going to send you away ANYWHERE until the end of the TIAS. Rabbits Rabbits Rabbits.......
ReplyDeleteBut you lived in Coventry once!!!!!
ReplyDeleteNo don't go back there will have no where to stay next weekend!!!
Oh Jane, you gave my heart a jump start this morning. You really had me going there. LOL!! The sheep bookmark looks great to me. Chalk it up for another great pattern!!
ReplyDeleteThink you're being rather harsh on yourself, dear Jane!
ReplyDeleteYou had me going there for a few... I realize I had made a mistake or two in the TIAS, but I knew that I hadn't complained about it as it was my own silly fault! Then I read that it was YOU you were speaking of (I should have known!) and I chuckled.
*bringing bread and water to Coventry-Jane*
Hope you won't keep her there TOO long!
LOL...
feeling not good today, have sinus trouble. good OLD jane has but a BIG smile on my face Love this posting. ps. the chinese always put a mistake in there work. none of use are perfect.
ReplyDeleteHmmm...sounds like you need a break! :D
ReplyDeleteAnd maybe to highlight the part of the pattern that tends to hide from you to that way you can't miss it. :)
ReplyDeletehahaha, you're very funny ........... hehehehe ..... even though the translator, I understand your jokes, jjejejejejeje .......... but sometimes, the translator translates what he wants, jejejejeje ..... I'll have to start studying English for so hard, a good understanding of your jokes, jejejeje
. . .and you get on ‘me’ for angst over my ‘little’ mistakes....ok, for the uninitiated Anglo-phile. What is in Coventry that you would be sent there? A loony bin? tee hee or a whipping post? or the ‘stocks’ All much to harsh for an Old GIT like yerself. :>) Well, I can read your patterns (even with TIA SR typo), so I expect anyone can read them! Perhaps you are trying to improve on perfection.....:>) P
ReplyDeleteYikes I thought you were talking about me!! I do change some patterns to make it easier for me and have been know to do the same thing making the same mistake more than once. The second time it is highlighted. Thank goodness it was you and your pattern. The best solutions is to have a cup of tea and enjoy the day....

ReplyDeleteIt just proves you are human after all. I can't tell you how many times I've done that.lol. Sheepie looks great to me.
ReplyDeleteI love the bookmarks and I love that I'm not the only one that gets mad at themselves. whew!!
ReplyDeleteOK Jane, it's all your own fault! SO, instead of giving yourself that little treat (I know whatcha thinking... You are running away from us TIAS fans!)... send me to Coventry. Heehee... I would be keen to see where my hubby did his schooling. :D
ReplyDeleteOh Jane, you sweetheart! Thank you for putting a smile on my face and a chuckle in my heart :)
ReplyDeleteSheepie is really cute!!!
Ooooohhhh Jane, do I know where you are coming from! Been there, done that and worn the T-shirt. Mind you, I hadn't thought of sending myself to Coventry....will definitely remember that one! LOL
ReplyDeleteLoving the TIAS by the way.
Now, now Jane you know its the best thing since sliced bread to tell yourself off...nobody can answer you back......the sheep is gorgeous and was worth all the agrivation LOL......I talk to myself too so if your "loony" so am I ROFL

Jane. For this transgression being "sent to Coventry" is not sufficient. You are duly sentenced and are to be sent to the prisoners isle of Australia instead. Once there you shall teach the locals about tatting until all are converted and are able to complete a TIAS without error. Or until such time that you finally admit that the current TIAS is rabbit related.........
ReplyDeleteJane, you are cracking me up! You are so much fun!
