An new edging and a pattern is finished!

I finally got the panda sorted and he's now living here!!!!

Also updated on the pattern site is the snowflake which Sharren made out of one of my very early patterns.   It's a stonking great addition to this very simple snowflake - thanks, Sharren.

I also got an edging started too.  I wanted a fast and easy edging for hankies.  This is what I came up with!!  The thread is one of the new Lizbeth ones - called Rainbow Taffy.  I used a plain ecru/cream colour with it too.

Does anybody want this pattern?  If so I'll get it up on the pattern page sooooon.

  1. Oh, yes, Jane. You've created another clever pattern, used beautiful color, and are willing to share it with us. I like the way one side of the split rings flows with the inside edge. Would enjoy having the pattern and making your edging - as long as it doesn't interfere with TIAS! Karen in OR

  9. YES PLEASE!!!!!

It's a VERY pretty edging and I would like to try it. I have been looking for an edging for a little Baby Doll dress project I have going. I think this may be THE ONE! It's a spring dress which I have been working on since LAST May - good thing I made it longer or it would be too short by THIS May!

    Thank you Jane!

A very pretty edging! I'm surprised you are not tatting straight onto the handkerchiefs. Where do you buy your handkerchiefs from?

    Thank you.

  12. I bought a lot of hanky's from our local market about thirty years ago but the one I'm using for this edging was a gift from Gina. I NEVER EVER tat straight onto them in case the hanky wears out or has an 'accident'. You can always take it off and sew it on another if it's not tatted on.

  13. Silly Jane,
Of course we all want the pattern. It looks like a good solution to having some height while making it all one row.
