A few more!

It might seem that these are quick to make but I assure you they're not!!!

They are fiddly and annoying when the magnets decide to 'play party time'!!!

Still these are a few more of what I HOPE to get into my Etsy store later today.  What is that saying?  'Time and tide wait for no man'?  Well nothing waits for me!!!  I seem to be forever chasing my tail lately.  Wonder why that is?

I'm afraid I'm going to have to put the prices up slightly.  I've noticed that since I started listing the bookmarks that the amount I'm actually getting (in order to feed the thread and bead addiction!!!) is dropping due to the dollar to pound conversion!

It's a good job I don't have to use the car to go to the Post Office - here in the UK the price of petrol (aka gas) has now gone up to over £1.30 a litre.  Not sure what that is in gallons although I've tried to work it out.  Then again America uses different 'sorts' of gallons to us!!!  Ain't life complicated for a mathematically challenged old git?

  1. They are gorgeous and I love the colours, Jane its 4 and a half litres to the gallon, I feel I am lucky our petrol seems to be cheaper than you at £1.27.9 per litre, although I went to get my hair trimmed yesterday and it was £1.35.9 so they know what they can do with that. I will continue to fill up at Sainburys they are usually cheaper than anywhere else. I am going up pass you later on this month so will have to watch the price as we will need to fill up before coming home.
    Have a good day

  2. Yuck - that would be close to $5 per gallon here! I bought gas a few days ago and paid $3.17 per gallon - and felt lucky to get it at that price, as the filling stations in the next town all have the price set at $3.25 per gallon. I wish we had public transportation in our town, but we don't. Nothing is walking distance, either.

  3. I love the colours in the second one!! I know what you mean about the price of gas! In my little part of Tat Land we are seeing prices like $1.20 a litre but I have to drive every day for work!! Maybe I could stop working. I like this idea!! Hubby would NOT like this!! :(

  4. Charge what you need to - we all know what they cost in terms of your time, and the few pence you get doesn't come close to paying what those lovelies are really worth.

I went to a hybrid car several years ago, as I have to drive 60 miles round trip daily for work. (Thats about 97 km.) I get roughly 40 mpg, which is 17 kpl. It makes a difference, believe me!

  6. By Silver City’s gas prices that would be almost $7 a gallon!
Our gas is always 15 to 20 cents higher than the rest of New Mexico. I think that is what Obama is shooting for....$5 - 7 a gallon for us! Spread the misery as well as the wealth...poo poo

Our van, fully loaded is getting 17 mp gallon on Tucson trips. That is pretty good for a loaded van which we have to have because of my wheel chair and all the junk carried for me...oxygen bottles and such...Oh and Pippa’s carrier is seat belted to one of the seats, LOL

Your brooches are so pretty that I’m salivating...
