A bit of a change

I'll get back to showing you the Palmetto patterns I've submitted tomorrow but today I wanted just to say that I'm darn FED UP with my Etsy shop becoming stagnant.

I know that in situations like this people run sales and gift thingies and stuff like that.  Well, not me.  I can't be bothered!!  So instead I've reduced prices on the bookmarks and have added some pendants.  I need a fresh start in there.  Call it a Spring clean if you like - much more interesting than doing a house Spring clean, eh?

As it's getting warmer (well some days) and I'm thinking of making some more roly poly tat bags  and poke proof pouches - do you think that's a good idea?  Below is a reminder of what they are for those who haven't seen them before.  Do people who have had them before think the removable strap is a good idea or should I make them 'integrated' in the design.  I only ask because I've never taken my strap off - in fact I don't think I've ever used it!!!

Any and all help would be very gratefully received - even if it is simply 'you're a daft old bat'!!!

I love my Roly Poly bags - often use the strap to tote the bag around on my wrist, but I've never actually detached it.

I do not have a roly poly bag yet(it is on my wish list!)soooo...I really can't say whether I would like the strap or not but, I like the idea that I can take it on or off if I decided too. In my opinion keep them the way they are :) I am saving my pennies to get one!!!

  6. If I had a roly poly bag, I'll pop it in my handbag that's large enough to carry even an A4-size envelope. And that's what I do with my current tatting bags! A strap or without won't bother me.

  7. I love my roly poly bag, but you're right about the strap. It doesn't have to be detachable. Please don't change the overall design, because it is great for needle tatters, too. My needles came in clear, plastic tubes, and they fit in the roly poly bag nicely.

  8. When I'm thinking about what to buy, I usually put on my list things that I cannot do myself: wood shuttles, bags, needles, and the like. Since I can tat, I doubt I'd be inclined to buy tatting done by someone else, but I don't know if I'm the norm.

  9. I don't have a roly poly bag (yet), but I am always on the look-out for small bags with a strap because I often tat while waiting in line or such and having a bag that can dangle on my wrist makes that whole thing so much easier...particularly when the zipper opening is at the same end as the handle, so the thread can easily pull from the bag while tatting.

  10. I love my roily poly bag and use it all the time. I like the detachable strap. I think they are wonderful and would like a second one.
