Now as I said yesterday I'm addicted to making these!!! Here are a collection of ones which I really ought to give away or sell on Etsy.
Do you know what? I think I might try and find time to list them this week - at a nominal price just to cover costs so that hopefully they'll go to good homes and fast!!!
I'll never be a business woman - I haven't got the 'je ne sais quoi' to do it!!!! Here are the ones I'm talking about.
Can you see there are two colours of chains? I'm wondering if I should give a choice or just 'wing it'? Any ideas?
Just put the chain that matches the finding on the pendant, or are you saying that you only have two chains? They are very pretty and should sell well.
ReplyDeleteI have plenty of chain to make them to match. What I'm thinking about is offering them for sale with, without chains or the chain of choice!!! OR yet again I could match them to the findings!! You know what a ditherer I can be!!!
ReplyDeleteThey're pretty with or without the chain. If you offer them, they will sell!
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you tat a matching lanyard?
ReplyDeleteWhy don't you tat a matching chain?
ReplyDeleteGood idea, Teresa but I think that would make them more 'necklaces'? What do you think? Also to do that would take time and I'm always raring to go on to the next 'thing'!!!
ReplyDeleteThose are all so great!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely job with these.
ReplyDeleteLove the pendants Jane. Maybe give a choice if they want to buy with or without a chain. I myself would choose no chain as I have plenty of chains to put it on. Have a good day!
ReplyDeleteThey are so beautiful! I think the idea of tatting a chain is a nice one too. You've done a beautiful job on them. I'm sure they'd sell well.
ReplyDeletePretty! I want one! I like the idea of a metal chain over tatting a chain. But, that's because it's usually hot and humid around here, which means sweat, and I would imagine a thread based necklace would get pretty sweaty and then rub the wrong way.
ReplyDeletePendants however are perfect. :o) However, I'm with Carol, I'd buy one without chain. I prefer "gunmetal" over gold or silver for everyday wear.
Yea, give the option of chain or no chain. Personally, I would probably thread a ribbon through the pendent loop. :)
ReplyDeleteYou make such wonderful things!
ReplyDeleteJane this has totally given me a crazy idea! Is this your pattern? Is it written up?
ReplyDeleteYes it is, Sherry. It was the precursor to the goat's body, then it became this and eventually became another which is what I'm submitting to Palmetto Tatters. All are written down and illustrated too!! Go on, what's your crazy idea?
ReplyDeleteI am wondering about the 'crazy idea!"
ReplyDeleteThese are so pretty, Jane.
