Sixteen Ferris Wheels now done. What shall I do now? I'm asking because I could take it further as I'm still enjoying it. I think I'll make another round to this.
Actually I think that I'll do the other version now - the pattern without buttons. It'll be interesting to see if it'll work out OK. No reason why it shouldn't but .....
You know what I'd like to see now? - a quite wide edging all around, incorporating the colours you've used, perhaps 3 or 4 or more rounds - I think that would make it a really special piece.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome and fun looking!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI love the variety of effects with the different colors! A great way to play with threads and create a delightful mat at the same time, which could get as large as you want. Why stop if you're having fun?!! I like that there are only the two joins per side, and they create a perfect circle in the empty space.
ReplyDeleteNice idea, Maureen!

I love your colors, so pretty and I really like the design. Maureen's suggestion is a good one.
ReplyDeleteIt reminds me of a quilting sampler, so maybe attach to a doll-sized quilt...although if you are tired of sewing that doesn't do you much good. :) Maureen's suggestion is probably better :)
ReplyDeleteJane, I'm constantly amazed at the colours you use on your tatting. How cheerful these ferries wheels are!
