Twirly once more

So, I got as far as I did on this last post and then decided that rather than try for another round I'd start again!!!!  Yup!!!  
At that point I didn't think the colours did the whole 'thing' justice so decided on the ones below. 

So, once again I present the doily!!!  Now I'm not sure I like these colours either and I'm certainly not happy with the last two rounds yet.   

So, back to the drawing board I go and to the tatting cupboard for new colours too!!!

  4. You're going to laugh at me, but I have to switch from my laptop to the iPad to view these images, as my laptop doesn't offer a zoom feature...my crazy eyes need the zoom!

  5. What exactly doesn't look right to you? I think it looks pretty good, but then I don't know what you are aiming at.

    Those colors will stand out that is for sure.

  7. Ah, Ladytats, the day something looks right to me is the day I give up!!!! I'm really, really fussy about what I do!!! Just don't know why but these colours didn't work for me. I'm going to try others next time!!!

  9. I love these colors! I especially like the contrast between dark and light; the darker edging makes a nice framing device. I can't wait to see the rest!

  11. I like the last round very much! and I like the effects of the alternating two colors! but I have to tell the thruth, I'm not a fan of green and red toghether! anyway the result is beautiful
