So, back to the 'drawing board' over Abbi's bow!!! I explored my stash of threads and found what I thought was the 'right' colour.
Here's bow number 2 with slightly longer 'tails'. Why longer tails? Because I can't read or count.
I've put the other pink bow below the new one so you can see the difference. SOOOO many 'pinks' it's no wonder I needed another attempt to get the right one!!!
Ah, there's pink and then there's pink. I love the tiny beads in the bow, they must give it sparkle. I hope this one will go well with Abbi's new dress!
ReplyDeleteBoth very pretty - perhaps her mother will buy her another pink dress, to match the first bow!
ReplyDeleteBut you haven't seen PINK until you have come face-to-face with my five year old granddaughter's favourite shade - fluoro pink!
Believe it or not, there is wool to be had in this shade - and I have been knitting with it.
Lizbeth 620 has been approved as well, for love-hearts.
Oh, Maureen, you should've issued a warning with your comment to wear sunglasses when looking up flouro pink!!! WOWWEEEEE. Wonderful colour.
ReplyDeleteBoth bows look great!! :)
ReplyDeleteI like the buy another dress to match the other bow very funny.
