Another ordinary day

Just another ordinary Thursday in my part of Tat Land.  The usual 'stuff'.  The weekly grocery shopping, avoiding housework and trying to keep warm!!!

Over in America it's Thanksgiving.  Hope you all have fun, lots of lovely things to eat and time with family and friends.

Remember those in the back of beyond here in England who don't have any fun all day!

  1. Yes just another day for us, I love the way you say back of beyond, Jane if you are out in the beyond, I am even more in the back of beyond in Somerset.

  2. At the risk of sounding deeply philosophical, I have always thought that "ordinary"days are to be savoured and enjoyed - it's what we always hanker for when they disappear.

  3. Thank you, Jane! It's my favorite holiday, with little commercialism to spoil it! And I'm also quite thankful to be a guest at our niece's home today and don't have to cook or clean!! And we'll come back with delicious leftovers! A happy occasion indeed!

  6. Dear Lady Jane, It is probably my mistake, but if your humble servant remembers it correctly, thursday is the day when your highness has a drink. That is to bre enjoyed (As I am doing now), but why is it suddenly Friday? Evening? Mist and Darkness!Avoid mirrors, please! We , your fans, should be your only mirrors!!!!!

  7. Tally Tatty - you're right!!! Thursday is gin and tonic day!!!! Very enjoyable it was too!!!! Now it's Friday and sometimes, just sometimes I 'need' a G & T on a Friday too. Not today, though!!!! I was a sensible OG today!!! Rarely do I use a mirror. I prefer not to see the truth!!!! Thank you for being my mirror, though!!!

  8. Funny girl! I was self indulgent this year and went out for the holiday--parents are away and we had a party early with my sibs, so why not?
