Two bracelets

Well I doubt you'll hear from me for a day or two and I'm not going to explain why either!!!  Oh, alright I will.

It's because there'll be nobody around to read my ramblings as most of you will be celebrating Christmas.  I'll not be going ANYWHERE.  Not even 'down the town' to buy the milk and a newspaper for Nick.  For us it's a designated two days for eating and drinking too much, falling asleep in the chair and most importantly - the giving of presents.  Which brings me to these two below.

A couple of bracelets made for a neighbour and her daughter.  I really enjoy making these and especially for this lass who I've been helping with her crochet.  Well, here's the link if you want to make one.  Easy peasy once you know how to do the single shuttle split ring (SSSR).

  2. Happy Christmas, Jane - what did you buy for Nick instead of the surprise plunger??? I've been dying to know.
I'm not going anywhere either, they all come here on the day, and thereafter to eat the leftovers. I always prepare far too much.

  9. Dear Jane, It is 11:50AM here on the plains of Illinois. All the presents are opened and the leftovers removed. Except for that wadded ball of Holiday tissue which is Patch's new favorite toy. The chicken is fried and the dressing is in the oven. We are just waiting for half time at the game so that bro George can join us for lunch. With a much looked for lull in the festivities, the first thing I thought of was checking your blog. Can't go a day without seeing something new or inspiring you are working on.
