Block tatting motif progress.

Tomorrow will be day 2 of the Tat It And See.  Keep your eyes open at the top of this blog or the TIAS one.  I will announce it on a blog post on both blogs too and also on Facebook.

Well today I'm showing you the next progress on the motif.  The whole thing was completed a few weeks ago so it's almost ready to put on the pattern site!!!  I just get a bit behind with linking everything up.  Also I do like to keep you all in suspense sometimes too!!!!

  3. I love motifs that swirl, and this one is wonderful! Block tatting... hmmm... Another technique I've yet to try.

  4. It reminds me of the pretty "Catherine Wheel" fireworks I used to see on Bonfire Night when I was a kid :) Bridget in Perth Western Australia

  7. It's me again! How clever of you to dispel the boxy image of block tatting with the elegant rotation of your motif. It would not surprise me at all if the end result turned out to be square, just to keep us all guessing!

  8. Sheeeesh, IsDihara - my mind is devious but not THAT devious, I don't think!!!
Stitchety Grub - that's going to be it's name as I thought that when I was originally working on it. Great minds think alike!!!

  10. What a great whirlygig! It will look good in any color too. Oooo, I wonder how it would look in a bangle with beads?
