Don't forget - 12 o'clock BST (midday) is the time I'll be letting the shuttles loose!!!
So, further progress on this mystery. This caused me some fun working out what colours and where to use them!!!
It's almost 'there' but I need time to get the last round sorted.
Meantime the sewing machine is out and bags are being made.
Gorgeous! I have no idea about the pattern name or designer :).
ReplyDeleteLove the pentagon-shaped sub-motif!!

I can't wait to find out what it is! - it's stunning.
ReplyDeleteWhat do we have to guess exactly? Who designed it or what it is?
ReplyDeleteI guess it is going to be a super place mat. Or doormat to match your fandango,..... I lost the word, but it is next to your front door.
It is a doormat to match your fandango coaster runner that is on you radiator. So, I said it!!
ReplyDeletemakes me think of Summer and bbq time! I could see it on a platter (protected of course) of veggies or canapes. or serving goodies at teatime?
ReplyDeleteI kept thinking it was going to be some sort of oval mat/doily, and I'm more convinced than ever that it IS going to be a mat of some sort. Briefly thought possibly a wall hanging or a window hanging....but you just crocheted new curtains - last summer, was it? Whatever is it, it's gorgeous.

ReplyDeleteIt's Lovely!!!!!
I have to say this pattern doesn't look at all familiar. Those pentagons are very unusual!
