Before I start. Just a reminder that the Palmetto Tatting Days registration is still open. Do have a look to see what's offered. My gingerbread men are excited over their trip!!!!
OK, here it is in all it's 'glory'!!!! The pattern.

Hope to see other ideas using Loom Bands as they are so cheap and cheerful!!! Meanwhile I may have another try at another design too. Long summer days are great for getting things like this done.
I love this idea :). We have heaps of loom bands here :). These would make great Christmas tree decorations :). Thanks Jane :).
ReplyDeleteGingerbread men??? You didn't tell me there would be gingerbread men in your suitcase.... I'm coming in there too!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteNow to download the pattern....
I love the way you're matching the threads and beads to the bands - the only thing that worries me is that the bands, in time, may perish?
ReplyDeleteWe're awash with them here too, even the boys are making wrist bands.
Not sure about the perishing, Maureen but they're such a fast tat and take so little thread that they could almost become 'throw aways' if that happens!!!
ReplyDeleteAs the bands aren't stretched, then even if they do 'perish' it should take a loooong time!! After all, they aren't under any strain at all!!
ReplyDeleteYou are too amazing for words! You have done all this so quickly! Love the bead in the center. I'm still impressed that you often draw actual 'knots' in your
ReplyDeletepatterns!
Jane, I love it! What an awesome idea.
ReplyDeleteEven if the bands perish and disintegrate away, you're still left with a very cute piece. Nice!
ReplyDeleteI was also wondering about the band deteriorating... it would be a shame to have your tatting spoiled. it's so pretty!
