Time for more experiments. I wanted to see how this idea would work if I put 'spokes' into the corners as well as the sides. Again a little bit of 'tweaking' is needed. In picture one I've added them so that they join to the sides and corners, picture two to 'just' the corners and picture three to the sides only.
I've also changed centre drastically too. I've a feeling this may just work out well in the end.
When I saw just the first pic, I thought, that must be IT, but when I saw the other two pics, I like those versions too.
ReplyDeleteThis is certainly eye-catching! I love the two colors showing on the chains, and the purple and green look wonderful together!
ReplyDeleteJane, how do you decide upon which one is 'the one'? Like Jane, I like all three.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome!!! 3 in 1 design!!! :)
ReplyDeleteLove the colors too!!! :)
I LOVE the first one with the extra spokes!
ReplyDeleteYou don't is the answer!!!! Watch this space!!!
ReplyDeleteI also like all three, with perhaps a slight preference for the first one. Maybe this will end up as a design with multiple versions. The real improvement, though, is the use of the central ring. That makes the whole thing sit better and hold its shape where the previous versions looked a little floppy. I think you're on the right track now.
ReplyDeleteRofl!! Loves them Miss!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad I don't have to decide which one is best. I like them ALL.

Jane said it all !
ReplyDeleteMy teeniest preference is for the 1st one . But looking at all 3, I'm curious about the next round - will it be airy or dense or take another shape altogether ?!!
Loving your experimentation :-)
