The weekend went far too quickly (along with money!). You would think that BC3 would've learned to listen to instructions by now. I mean, isn't it clear to everybody that 'no more thread' actually means 'no more thread' at ALL! Ah well I'll have to find a job when I get home! Vending was just too easily accessible!
I reckon the Palmetto Tatters interfere with time itself on their weekend as it seems that time flies. Maybe next year they should employ Dr Who to help with the 'time flying ' problem. Sadly I got very very few pictures again this time but I did get two 'general' ones.
Guess what else happened? I won the big prize at the very end. WHOOOPPPEEEEE. A HUGE bag of goodies including a portable desk top LED lamp which is going to be so useful. I found chocolate in the bag too but I'm not telling anybody about that! Don't you dare tell either. There was more thread in the bag too!
More to come as and when I get time or, more truthfully, when the brain (including 'you know who') thinks of things.
You were probably having too much fun to think of the camera! - I'm glad it was such a successful weekend.
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure which of us was more excited to meet the other. The weekend did go way to fast but I will never forget it. I look forward to seeing you again................at Shuttlebirds perhaps?
ReplyDeleteI think she needs to try for Shuttlebirds! I also want to see "Mini Tats" re-published!!! ;)
DeleteNo!!! She's not allowed there... (Unless I can come too!!) vbg

Deleteit's always a delight to see you again! I love your diamond pendant/bracelet class! thanks so much! I hope you enjoy the rest of your trip and have a safe journey going home! hug!
ReplyDeleteBeing British, I'll bet you have more pull with Dr Who than we do. Please follow through, the weekend just blew by! So good to see you again.
ReplyDeleteAnd, are you still sure that I shouldn't protect that basket for you?
Congratulations on the big win! And I'm glad that you gave in to the thread temptations! It means we'll see more gorgeous tatted projects in the near future!
ReplyDeleteI missed saying goodbye. Secretly I didn't want to. Safe and home now. Loved seeing you again! Safe travels here and home!
ReplyDeleteBut Jane you could have said you were buying the thread for me, as indeed some of it was! Glad you had a great time, the photographs look very familiar
ReplyDeleteDidn't we say the thread was for both of us Sally???
DeleteI am happy to hear that buying more thread is not just my affliction. Waiting to hear more travel stories.
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time!!! :)
ReplyDeleteSounds like you had fun!! Now about this thread addiction.... The only thing to do to cure it is... Send it to a tatty OG in Yorkshire!! Lol
