And on and on!!! More progress on the doily.
Actually although there's still some way to go I like this as a finished item with (probably) a little tweaking it could be a flower and stopped there. BUT I will continue!!!
On other matters - I've changed the blog header (may work further on that!) and widened the page a bit. I think this threw out the comments section somewhat. I'm hoping it's sorted now after a few hours 'fiddling' with the settings. I also found that I was quite closely linked to Google+ which I never use. I'm not sure how it works as when I visit I find other people's 'stuff' on there. Is it like Facebook?
I'm so enjoying 'life after Facebook' although I do pop in there to put my walk photos up there and very occasionally to check out other things but I'm now getting a lot more tatting done!!!
I was wondering what was going on. I thought maybe the Blogspot people were messing with it, or maybe my browser was not working correctly. Happy Thanksgiving, Jane, even though that is an American tradition. I am just thankful for the friends and acquaintances I have. I am happy to include you in that count. - Tim
ReplyDeleteIt's our Thanksgiving day so happy Turkey day across the pond!
ReplyDeleteLove the doily!
Happy turkey day to you guys too. Good to meet up with you both at Tat Days too. Don't go eating too much turkey today. 🦃 🦃 🦃
ReplyDeleteI love how the flower is coming along. Yes, it's sometimes tricky to get the right balance between creating and being on-lone!
ReplyDeleteline!!
ReplyDeletethis is very beautiful and just FYI when I look at my blog list your site never shows a picture and sometime you are just missed, where most others have a picture first and then words. I don't have Facebook it is just too much I don't have the time to do my blog and see others blogs let along all that is on Facebook.
ReplyDeleteThis is a pretty pattern. you could go either way with it. I am on google+ as well, because it is linked to blogge/blogspot, but i really never use it. just 1 mord thing to take up my time if i did. my blog has languished for a long time, because i simply needed to eliminate some things. i hope to retire from working off farm next year so may have more time to get back to posting
ReplyDeleteIs that when you look at the list on your dashboard or on your blog, Madtatter80? How strange. If it's from my end then I'll see if I can fix it. Not sure how, though. Just had a 'fiddle' with the settings so can you check now?
ReplyDeleteJane, I love that Flower Doily, good place to stop. I also like the "modern" look, always a delight to read your blog.
ReplyDeleteI also puzzled with my blog the day before yesterday, then discovered that they changed something, like the dashboard and are planning other changes. I didn't join google+ and don't comment in blogs in case that is the only choice. I joined fb and share links to my blog but it seems italians love commenting there instead. Taste can't be explained. Lovely doily!
ReplyDeleteI do exactly the same, Ninetta. Blog and put links on Facebook. Also I get the same reaction too - people will comment on Facebook but not on the blog!!! Interesting but tat's life!!!! The doily just gets better - you'll see!!!!
DeleteThat is awesome!!! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful doily ! The flower design is superb !
ReplyDeleteWould you have rather crocheted such a pattern or tat it ?
No contest - shuttle tat it. It's a lacier look and is easier to shuttle tat than crochet!!!!
