Forever young finished

Finished.

To say that I'm pleased with this would be an understatement. It's a delightful pattern which I've thoroughly enjoyed making. I'm off to explore Teri's blog again to see what else I might like to make. She's certainly an amazing designer.

I remember when we used to talk a lot and she was always singing the praises of Dora Young and this is reflected in this pattern.  As I'd never seen Dora's book I hadn't much of a clue why she was so intrigued.  Now I thoroughly do understand and am finding that Teri's work has ME very interested now.

    1. Teri is a totally talented designer. I adore her work but find it hard to understand some of her thought processes.

    1. Absolutely. Her way of notating her designs does make sense but I struggled and sort of translated it into 'Jane'!!!!

  9. I knew you would finish this in record time! It's a great design, and your change in thread gives it a crisp look. So glad you are reminding tatters of Teri's many accomplishments and contributions. She did some interesting things with the pineapple design, including a pretty drawstring bag and a large butterfly.

  11. It's a wonderful work, and I've to tell that I know exactly how difficult it could be to tat something like that.
Some years ago, I've tatted Pineapple Heaven by Doretha Albee. Here is a picture of my example of that work: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10203845930890119&set=a.3994206975001.170674.1275721357&type=3&theater
As you can see, it's really similar of your work.
The pattern of the pineapple I've got from Georgia Seitz's page: http://www.georgiaseitz.com/2011/dorethaalbeepineheaven.pdf
