Finished

Now this was SOOOO hard to photograph but this is the best I can do!!!

I took it to Gloucester last Saturday for the Christmas competition. I'm chuffed to bits that I won. Only problem is that the prize was a BIG box of chocolates and I can't resist chocolate!!!! Bang goes the diet once again!! Diet? No I'm not on a diet but I do try not to eat 'naughty' food. I can manage most of the time but once chocolate comes onto the scene I'm a lost soul!!!!

I'm still trying to get the pattern finished for the bells so please be patient.  It shouldn't take long so I hope to have it on my web site sometime next week.

  4. You and Erin Moseley are at odds, aren't you? She holds Tat Days classes and starts with a big sack of chocolate. And isn't C-H-O-C-O-L-A-T-E how you spell tatting?
That is a pretty dangle with the leaves and bells. Good win.

  9. Chocolate is a required food group don't you know. Congrats on the win! and that will be a great pattern.

I too have trouble when chocolate is in the house. last year I got a bit stressed and ate the chocolate chips in the pantry without baking any cookies

  10. Thanks, Ladytats. That's funny eating the chocolate chips before baking them into cookies but, in my opinion, that's a diet as you didn't eat the cookie part. Ah, perhaps you have invented a whole new weight loss plan!!! The 'no cookie' chocolate chip cookie!!!

  11. I think it was a well-deserved win! How exciting, and I'm sure you shared the box of chocolates around, so you don't need to feel guilty. Unless there were Turkish Delights, I would never share those with anyone.

  12. No Turkish Delights, Maureen. If there had been then they would've gone straight to Australia to you. Neither of us like that 'breed' of chocolate!!!!
