I was honoured to have been present at Judith’s investiture on Tuesday, and all of us who were there agreed that it had been a moving ceremony. Well- deserved.
Thank you, everyone, for your congratulations and kind comments. The OAM was awarded for my contributions to the creative arts, particularly as a tatter and lace maker. (I do needle lace as well.) The citation also recognised my controbution as a designer, teacher, judge, researcher and writer in the field of lace. Quite an honour, which I would sincerely like to share with you all.
