Well the book which stole the picture of my bookmark arrived on Friday lunchtime. It was on its way back to the ebayer shortly after. I took a photo or two to illustrate how badly the contents are and then wrapped it in the same packaging to send it back.
I’m afraid I have to share just a very small proportion of the introduction with you as I find it highly amusing that we’ve all been enjoying a ‘roll in the hay’ all these years without even knowing it!!
Good grief. We're rolling in the hay with laughter!
ReplyDeleteOh, my!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get your refund. Going back to bed obviously. 🙄
ReplyDeleteSuch stupidity! This self publishing books will cause all kinds of problems I'm sorry to say! It was probably honestly created for small family, vacation, self interest skills or like I want to do a record of my life hobbies some day? Sad!!!
ReplyDeleteQuite 12 years? Really? Should know better then! Obviously not an 'English' speaker!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck re the refund!!
Rolling in the hay with laughter indeed! I hope you get a refund on the book.
ReplyDeleteHmmm. I used to tat on the way to roll OUT the hay.
ReplyDelete'Rolling in the hay'! So that was the cause of all that laughter coming from a tatting class in the next room at the Fringe!
ReplyDeleteRoll in the hay? The hell!
ReplyDeleteThe picture of your bookmark is actually mine. I posted it to my blog tattingandbeading.blogspot.com on February 23, 2011. I was never contacted with a request to use of my picture in their book.
ReplyDeleteI do apologise Brigitte Tats. I’ve only just found your comment and released it. I apologise. Least I got the bit right about it being my pattern!! I did wonder about the tassel as I can’t remember doing a tassel on a bookmark!!! I claim a senior moment!!!
