Does my?

"Does my bum look big in this"?  Sorry, couldn't resist that!!!  It should read "does my BANNER look big in this"?  Thanks to all again for suggestions and taking the time to even look at the ramblings and struggling of this OG!!!

Seriously I had poor old brain cell number 3 working on the banner for a while yesterday but am not sure if it's any better!!!

Two completely different dangles today.  Both made a few weeks ago (and lost and found!!).

The first one is done in my favourite combination of really outrageous colours - bright pink and bright orange!!

The second is green (obviously!) and a variegated thread called 'jelly bean' which is one of the Lizbeth number 20 range.

  2. Ditto what Carol said. I love all the bright color combos!

On my browser, your banner is almost all visible now. There's just about 1/2 of the pink tatting not showing on the right hand side.

  8. I guess I'll have to make one of those orange and green ones-- complete with the blue beads. It's not exactly my favorite color combinations but it exactly matches the colors from her wedding in June for which I made french beaded flowers for everything but the bridal bouquet. It will make a great keepsake for their first Christmas together.

    Hi Jane:
I wanted to let you know that tatman finally looked at my blog and he is now one of my followers. I find that so cool. Also, I love the bright pink and bright orange motif. I think so far that is my favorite.

  10. On My monitor, the banner is exactly the same size!
Out of interest - how long does it take you to tat ONE snowsettia? - because you have dozens and dozens to show - (now the pink-and-orange is my favourite) -I am envisaging perhaps a whole shoebox full of them!

  11. Well, Maureen it takes me a 'long' evening to do each one. Some were done as I was checking the pattern over and over again!!!!

  12. LOL! What a cute post! I notice that one commenter is saying that your banner looks smaller than the box. That's funny, it looks just slightly wider than the box...it's cut off on the right side..it says "Ja" instead of "Jane" on your shuttle on the right side. I am also using the latest version of Firefox. Maybe you had adjusted it since that last comment and went slightly outside.
    Anyway...it is looking much better!
You new snowflakes are lovely! I come here to look at the tatting and read your witty quips! I hardly look at the banner anyway! ;)
