Made in the UK but only because of the generosity of Irma in Chile. I've got several projects on the go at the moment but I couldn't resist using some of the metal findings that Irma so kindly sent me.
Here are two pendants that I've made - one for a member of my family and one which will probably go in my Etsy shop in a few days. I find these colours together stunning.
Love, love, love your pendants! I get compliments on mine every time I wear it!
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely! How did you get the alternating colors on the outer round? I imagine by swapping the shuttles but I can't figure out how you could have done tha without making a lock chain.
ReplyDeleteSally is lucky ! I also get compliments on mine. Thank you so much. Lovely pendant!
ReplyDeleteAh, not Sally, Sue Anna but another member of the family!!!
ReplyDeleteMichelle - the edging is simply a lock chain. I love the contrast you get with this technique too.
Those are beautiful. Love the colors.
ReplyDeleteYummy pendant.
ReplyDeleteI like your designs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful tatting, Jane.

Lovely! And I too love the colors.... Great choice!
ReplyDeleteI love it!!! The edging chain is what catches my eye the most!
ReplyDeleteOooo! Pretty! I'm not much on making or wearing that much jewelry but I may have to make an exception. In fact, I'm going to go look for the pattern right now :)
ReplyDeleteI knew those 'bits' wouldn't sit around long before you used some of them! Another excellent pendant design, and I LOVE those lock join chains! They create the illusion of beads! As usual, I am in awe of not only your tatting ideas and skill, but your speed as well. And you seem to be able to do ten things at once! I'm quite envious!
ReplyDeletepretty! love this pendant. yes, the contrast is pronounced and they go together well.
