I know it's more of the same but I have to make a design over and over again until I'm happy with it. Mainly it's small tweaks on the stitch count that really matter to me. I had to get the centre right so that the seed beads filled the space and I think I'm happy with that part now.

What lovely delicate colours. How did you tat the 'frilly' edges to some of the green split rings?

ReplyDeleteI think Anne may be referring to the ds's themselves; they do stand out nicely and have the look of frills. Maybe the size of the thread and the even-ness of your stitches have something to do with that look.
Sorry...no matter how I spelled it, eveness/evenness/even-ess, it still looks wrong, but it's 2:00 AM and my "spellchecker" DH is asleep! I think you know what I mean though. ;-)
Sometimes a design births itself so easily and sometimes you just have to fiddle with it until it feel right. I think it feels perfect now too!
ReplyDeleteColors are beautiful. Makes the beads pop! It is the nature of craft people that they are not truly satisfied with something unless it is pleasing to them (even though it looks nice otherwise).
