Nah.... definitely something a LOT more fun!!! Maybe a red squirrel??? or.... a colourful badger?? Will give that some thunk and get back to you!!! VBG
Honestly that is one of the oddest comments that I 'always' get. Perhaps it's not as widespread as say knitting, but lost, my arse. Or maybe none of us actually exist and it's all a knotted illusion.
hehehe! A dinosaur? If so, a very colorful one! Of what variety - possibly a threadivore? I like what TotusMel said - a knotted illusion. There are certainly a lot of us tied up in it. When people say that to me I tell them to check out the Internet and give them my card as a place to start.
If it's a lost art, then none of us would be tatting. As long as tatters continue to teach new people how to tat it shouldn't die and become lost either.
