Book sale part 2

All yesterday's leaflets are now spoken for - thanks, folks.

Following on from yesterday here are the rest of the booklets.

Must quickly mention the Learn to Tat book (330) as it was from this (pages 6 & 7) that I re-learnt how to hold and manipulate the shuttle almost 20 years after I'd started tatting.  As I picked up the craft from my gran (she was learning too) the way of holding the shuttle was never mentioned!!!!  I'd lent my copy of 330 to somebody I was teaching and she pointed these pages out to me!!!!!

6.   Coats Tatting number 469

7.  Learn to Tat number 330
8.  Coats Time for Tatting number 813
9.  Coats Learn Tatting number 1088
10.  Coats Ten Tatting Designs number 1127
Tomorrow there will be three more leaflets which you may be interested in too - they will be £1.00 ($1.50).

Morning Jane,

I have the coats ones today, I will look tomorrow what you have for us. thank you for offering the books. I learnt to tat with the 1088 I still have all the books, and I found that was the best book to learn from, It would be nice if they re-published it for the beginners of today.

I would like number 8, please. If that one is already gone, number 6 is my second choice. Thanks.

Well, Margaret there are many, many better ways to learn from books nowadays and one of the best is Rosemarie Peel's chart and her simple 'Take Five' pattern book.
Wickedtats - number 10 is yours.

Sorry, Sharren and tattabugg but I went in a strictly first come, first served order going from the bottom of my inbox. Sadly you were beaten. Sorrrryyyy.

Jane Eborall said...

Oh, Martha again you were beaten. Wish I'd got more spares of these.

That is quite alright Jane :) It is the only fair way of doing things and since I would probably have to be up in the wee hours of the morning (4 or 5 am ) here in the US to be able to get first in line I kind of expected to get beat :) Still figured I would give it a try any way. I am just enjoying seeing these lovely books and am glad that some one has kept them so nice for so long. Hope all who have gotten them will share with us what they tat from them so that we can drool a little :) Hugs

Oh, like everyone else -- I wanted #8, but I would settle for #6, which it doesn't look like anyone has claimed, if you'd add that to my little collection.

Jane Eborall said...

Number 6 is yours, Marty. Phewwwww!!!

Very, extremely late because I figured I'd never manage to get in soon enough to get any of them, but was #7 ever snapped up? I'm currently on a bit of a technician kick and would be very interested to learn alternate shuttle-manipulation methods.

Oh sorry Nardhelain it went ages ago. If you see another copy here on the ebay site in the UK then I could always bid on it for you and then mail it onto you.

Is time for tattion still available? If so how much and how much p and p?

Oh, Susan, that blog post was back in 2011. I'm so sorry but all those leaflets are long gone. I'll keep a lookout for another copy, though.
