Having got THAT far

Well having got the six done I did complete that round of the 'goodness knows what this is' piece.

In a very, very rash moment and, after receiving the last package from Sue Anna, I decided that perhaps this little experiment to show off HDT could go on a bit longer.  The original plan was to make a wearable piece like a tunic or something.  Who am I KIDDING!!!!  My eyes have always been bigger than my stomach - as the saying goes!!!!!!

After this round I'm calling it quits - my mind has wandered off onto other things which really, really need doing.  Like?  Well, you wait and see!!!

Love it and the black really sets off the variegated colours! So what will you do with it?

That is so awesome Jane! And it looks like it would make an awesome table covering(even a small table since it's hard to tell just how large it is), but I was also thinking about the pictures of shows you have shown that you have attended and that would be a great display for that too-I think. I love how it looks! :)

Now it has gotten truly dazzling. With all the colors and the way the negative spaces seem to rotate, it's like a kaleidoscope.

Ah, I must have been reading your mind! It is a beautiful piece. Jane, when do you sleep? Or do you tat in your sleep? ;D I always enjoying seeing your projects and can hardly wait for the next one. Do we get a hint?

Ummm, you can just slip that in an envelop and send it to me. It'll look good on my dining room table. *goes to wait by the mailbox*

This turned out so well! What are the finished dimensions? It could be big enough for a round accent table topper. Wouldn't it look lovely sandwiched between a drapey tablecloth and a glass table topper (those round plexi-glass things that protect your table tops from condensation rings and spills)?

At first it looks like a kalidoscope design then I leaned back in my chair and 'POP' there was a Daisy design in the negitive spaces! Way cool Jane!
