Another!!!

Martha sent me a heart to test for her this time.

What I LOVE about this design is that you get all the buttons onto the tatting within the first few elements. Why do I like this idea so much?

Well, I'll be honest. I go to the tatting cupboard and source the thread, beads (if required) and buttons needed for a project. Easy. I then take all back into the living room (a few steps away) and into 'tat corner'. Easy. So, what can go wrong with that? Well nothing, you'd think, but it invariably does.

How on EARTH 'things' can get lost when you know EXACTLY where you put them and you know darn well that they've not been moved. I swear I could lose my head if it was loose.

Nick knows what I'm like and often says (as I walk out of the front door) - beware of those big red things called buses!!!!

It would appear that somehow, the button manufacturer is also making tatting thread. Those colors are a perfect match! Very nice heart, Jane. And yes, watch for buses.

Oh I thought I was the only one that could loss my buttons and crochet hook and shuttle, and never get up from my chair. you need to make this a club "She's lost her buttons" ha ha ha well I also find heart and butterflies not as easy as they look when tatting something about those two sides :)

Beautiful!!! I love buttons in tatted items too. Plus learning a new technique is always so delightful. Do you have any idea as to when the book will be released?

Yes, Tim - eyes peeled for buses!!! I agree over the buttons and thread - all from my stash too!!!
That's a great idea, Madtatter80 - a club for 'lost and found'!!!
Craftie sylvie - I think the book should be ready for September. I'll certainly let you know when it is ready.

What I like most in above write up is, I swear I could lose my head if it was loose, because I am also same type of personality.

Beautiful design and wonderful use of buttons!

So good to know I'm not the only one who loses things within a few feet of where I'm sitting! I also leave my shopping lists at home when I go shopping. Almost every time! They never make it into my purse!

My mother was once told it was all down to "spirit " children playing games so we always blame them. Particularly when the lost items later re-appear in exactly the same place as you left them.
