Hanky holders

I always carry a small packet of tissues in my handbag and they ALWAYS get scrunchy/grubby looking.

A friend was making these covers and selling them successfully to raise funds for our Tuesday group so I thought I'd make one for myself.

I searched the internet for 'how to make them' (as you do) and found this great site.

This is almost the end of this great fabric and I'm going to miss it SO much. Always cheers me up!!

What a great site! Instructions look simple, I'll have a go next time I have to get my machine out. I hate sewing with a passion, the only time I use it these days is to do mending for son- in-law. Whose wife, I might add, was given very comprehensive instructions in basic sewing when she lived with me!
What a shame your fabric is running out. You will have to look for another cheerful piece in your travels.

Yes, Crazy Mom - you do recognise it!! Thank YOU. It's always brought a smile to my face too.
Maureen I like sewing but need to have new ideas of what to do with the things I've made or they lie around the house for months/years!!!!
