These tiny ones don’t have another colour in them but that’s what the pattern says!!!
There’s something so relaxing about following a pattern. No real ‘thinking’ needed - just sit and do as you’re told. Wish that applied to the rest of life although that might be boring!!!

Cute flowers! :)
I love the relaxation of a simple pattern.
What are you planning for the flowers? I’m sure there is a folded join (my nemesis). If I would do it a bunch of ty, I might become proficient at doing it.
BC3 can have a bit of a rest!
I love tatting tiny flowers and other wee things. I then use them in my mixed media tapestries. It's so lovely to have my tatting shuttle in my pocket and to whip it out and tat in 'stolen moments'. I NEVER leave home without a tatting shuttle!
I also meant to mention just how much I appreciate and enjoy your blog posts and your facebook posts, too. Thank you so much for the time and energy you put into them. They are a pleasure and a bright spot! <3
That's a JOKE, Jane McLellan!!! There's a TIAS to think about!!
I generally tat SCMR butterflies, Noreen. Thanks for your lovely message. Keeps me focussed on what's important in life - walking and tatting plus other odd crafts thrown in!!!
Anonymous - the flowers are for the Marmello doily I'm working on. There would be a folded join there but I've never got the hang of those!!! Here's the way I do it. http://www.janeeborall.freeservers.com/JoinlastRfirstring.pdf In 65 years I've never been able to do it the 'folding' way!!!!
I am Susan. I was asking about the little flowers. The teacher I have for tatting finally got the folded join through my head. I hope I can remember it. I will try to find the marmello doily.
