Something slightly new

Whilst I ponder and work on the cardigan I'm also playing with this idea.

This is a new snowflake which I'm calling the 'Garden Snowflake'.  Yes it's already got a name which is very unusual for me.  The reason?  Well it's based on the Walled Garden motif.  It's not exactly the same as you'll see because I changed the centre quite a bit.

The pattern itself is well on the way to being finished too but I'd like to check it out a few more times before sharing.

I'm not sure I like this colour combination but it was what was on hand when I was sitting here a few days ago!!!

Yes, lovely pattern and I like the colors and beads. Very bright, as in a star on a cold winters night...

I like the colours - but maybe I think more about a flower then a snowflake when I see it! This was a very nice snowflake, I think I will try to have time to make some to give away at christmas for friends and family!

I like those colors -- very bright and cheerful. The pattern looks very "split-ringy" -- I like that too!.

Before I saw the last few comments (they hadn't appeared yet), I was thinking the exact same words as Marty - 'bright and cheerful'! I love the color combo! I'm always fascinated with the way the split rings create an optical illusion!
