After the mouse comes

As promised yesterday - here's the next project I decided to make from the Houtz brother's book.

This little hedgehog is soooo darn cute.

There was a lot of interest on Facebook yesterday over the mouse and it was interesting that a few people thought he was my design.  Come on, peeps, BC3 just isn't as clever as this as you well know.

Now tomorrow I've got something else from the book to show you but it's totally different.  No, you're going to HAVE to wait!!!

By the way - if you want to pre-order the book then please contact Gary and Randy.  The link to their page is here and if you scroll to the bottom you'll find the contact information.  I know they're hoping to have it back from the printers today.

Now he looks as though he could also be spiny anteater - we have one making a nuisance of himself in the local area. They make a terrible mess of people's gardens.
I'm sure this one would have better manners.

It's adorable. This book is going to be on my wish list. I see cat toys in the future. Plus will have to learn baubles!

That is just flipping adorable!!! What size thread is it and how big is the little critter?

West Pine Creations - the little hedgehog is just two inches. He's worked in a size 20 thread and is mainly chains. The book is out today directly from the Houtz brothers.

How very cute ! Just a couple of weeks back I was wondering whether it was possible to move from 3d flowers, butterflies, etc to 'solid' animals & birds. (Didn't know these were called Baubles.) And here you are with a beautiful sample - both of your own working & the Houtz brothers' ingenuity !
