Hi Jane - I've just started this bookmark for the exchange on arachne - I will credit you with the pattern design of course :-)

Are you designing your own Concentric Rectangles doily? ...or maybe another bracelet is in the works?

A rectangular doily or runner ?

It looks nice so far!! :)

This was my immediate thought as well. If so, I can't wait to see it. I'm very interested. Diane's rectangle doilies have been inspiring me to try one as well.

I didn't realize it still existed either. This is wonderful! I belonged many years ago when we got our first computer and I was fairly new to tatting. I just found the link to their page at http://www.arachne.com/lace/

I also was thinking a rectangular doily but also a dresser runner. I think that's what they call them. You know back in the day when people would put a runner on the top of the dresser. I think it was to help with the dust? Anyway, it is really pretty so far!

Jane Eborall said...

Well I suppose there's not a lot of difference between a rectangular doily and a dresser runner!!!! When I learned to tat those were some of the few patterns available - for dressing tables!!! Times change too fast!!
