Pink round 4 finished

All finished on this one now!!

You're not going to believe this but I've started another one. I need something to do when I go to my craft gatherings (twice a week now) and something that doesn't need a lot of concentration as we talk more than we craft!!!! It's great, though, as we share ideas and expertise especially the knitters and crocheters.

Another round would make it square, wouldn't it? Someone at Qld Tatters was looking for a square pattern the other day. I have never yet managed to achieve anything at a Tat'n'Çhat meeting and spend most of my time unpicking.

No, it wouldn't BUT the answer is to make the centre square by using this version of the Fandango series http://www.janeeborall.freeservers.com/motiffandango.pdf The first round after this would then be worked as corners and then the rest would be 'history'!!!! I can only take things to a meeting that I have trained the brain to remember!!!!

I don't think many of us could chat and tat this pattern, but I understand it's your pattern and you've memorised it!

I totally understand your obsession. Once you have a pattern memorized, it's so easy to use as a carry-along!

It's amazing how the dark brown(?) 'bits' really add to the visual appeal of this mat. These threads all blend beautifully! Is your Pink Cocoa one of them?

Golly, wouldn't a tiny splash of that darkest brown color be nice as a finishing touch? *ducks*
