Back to experimenting

So, this is where I've not got to with the motif I abandoned to go off on another Dora adventure.

This is where I'd got to. The top picture below is (probably) the front and the bottom one is - well, you can guess!!!

Actually it doesn't look too bad in the pictures but I'm not happy with it in 'real life'.

I've now decided what I'm making - it's a sun catcher 'thingie'. Least that's sort of progress!!!

I liked the idea before I added it to the ring but it's that last round of chains joining to the metal ring that really doesn't please me. Back to BC3, I guess!!!

Very interesting! I like the way the ring holds the shape of the motif. I guess I really should give it a try!

Looks fabulous to me!

What about Josephine rings to attach the motif to the metal ring? Instead of picots?

It's actually not easy to make a dream catcher; I was asked to make one, and I tried, but it didn't turn out. I love this one,and I think BC3 is being too fussy! Most of the designs seem to be quite small - will yours be a bigger one?

This one will be a bit larger than the ring - eventually and I think!!!! I'm just not happy with it yet.

I don't think there's room to add Josephine rings to the chains and then attach to the metal ring. I've got another idea I'm working on at the moment. Keep your fingers crossed!!!

That looks great!!! :) Like a dangle, but larger.

I love this experiment ! If only the outer chains could be more curved (perhaps by making the rings smaller), it would be perfect ! Just my 2-penny worthless thought ;-D

I beg your pardon? I didn't quite catch what you said.
