A sad sight!

This is the saddest thing you can imagine. The end of a ball of thread. Not just any ball of thread but one of my favourites.

It was the variegated green that I used on these Christmas tree earrings

It's sad but also a sort of happy time too. It means I've now got a good excuse to buy another ball of thread. Now do I need anymore thread? Of course not.

But temptation is always there, isn't it? Fortunately there's a very similar colour combination in the Lizbeth range. It's number 138 - Leafy Green. I wonder if I've got any in my stash? Must check it out!!!

Now that's a very sad sight. I hate it when a thread is all used up... you never seem to be able to match it exactly.... cept when it's Lizbeth of course!! Vbg

An empty spool is just testament to time well spent and enjoyed. Grab another and tat on!

Good for you for finishing it - I’m so reluctant to finish a ball that I have great numbers of cores with just a smidgeon of thread on them.

Leafy Green Lizbeth is one of the colors at Handy Hands that has been unavailable for some time. I have been waiting for it to come back!!!

OMG, unknown. That's the end of the world as we know it. Wonder if anybody's asked Barb if she's getting more in? Now I'm going into mourning. The demise of a great thread colour.
