Thinking caps on, please

The working name for this snowflake is 'Snowflake 2018'. How VERY boring is that?

I'm wondering if anybody can come up with a better idea as I always struggle with naming things. Even BC3 is hopeless too so it's no good asking him!

I'm now looking at this and wondering if I could join the outer rings to make an ongoing mat? I really, really REALLY ought to finish the diamond project first but ...............

Names for this snowflake would be very welcome - the sillier the better as those names seem to stick with my brain!!!

Which reminds me - I found a couple of interesting patterns in my computer the other day and one has the silliest name ever. I'm sure I must've thought it up as it's beyond stupid. More about that as I slowly get it (and the other rogue) 'fit to fly' on the internet.

The Silly Snowflake sounds perfect! Nice design and colours, but won't there be a large amount if negative space if you join the motifs? You might have to design little filler shapes. Something else to do!

I'm terrible with names. That's why my Ice Drops are named after thread colors!

What about the August Snowflake? What could be stranger than an August Snowflake? Hmm?

It's a wonderful snowflake and it seems like it's reaching outward so my thoughts were Reaching Outward Snowflake, or Outreaching Snowflake. :)
I love the possibility of more negative space. ;)

I’m not good at coming up with names either. That’s why I stick with boring old numbers.

Ooooh, thanks everybody. I like them all. Love Silly Snowflake, Maureen but think I'll keep that for an even sillier one in the future!!! I like your idea, Diane too. Pacawithknitting - that's my favourite, I think. August Snowflake. I like yours too, God's Kid and will bear that in mind for another one too.

The shape on each section reminds me of Spanish roofline arches so I would suggest 'Spanish Star'. I happen to love stucco buildings with orange tile roofs! Nothing to do with snow but I love that silhouette!

The hedgehog is so cute! You're always busy!

I see 6 raccoons looking at me with the two colors, Racoon Circle.

Six raccoons, Jeanne? That's so funny.
