Well here it is. The link that you've both (Sue Duckles and probably one other somewhere in the world) have been waiting for - scary spider earrings or pendants or whatever you like to use them for!
I'm exhausted now - that was quite a rush getting the pattern done in time for Halloween but I did cheat!!! I not only used the Terry Nimmer pattern but also used the Tatbead family idea for the legs. Here's the link to that idea.
Here in the UK Halloween was not heard of until it became an 'American import'. We used to celebrate Guy Fawkes day on November 5th but that's become quite secondary nowadays to the 31st of October!!!

Ooh!! Loves them!! Perfect for All Hallows' Eve...
Around here in Yorkshire UK... we had Mischief night on 4th... wouldn't work now but it was pranks rather than anything nasty! Like tying a string to the door knocker and hiding round the corner...
Now to get thread and beads out!
Perfect for a school teacber! I'm new to this. Can you tell me what the SS means under the Legs and Lower body sections and the SLT under the Inner body? Also, where are the Legs supposed to be while they are waiting to be attached? I want to be able to branch out and make patterns like this. Thank you for sharing and thank you for your help!
Thank you, Anonymous you've caught me out and it wasn't a 'trick or treat' - just me trying to do things in a rush!!! I've now added the SS and SLT abbreviations to the pattern!!! Can't thank you enough.
OK, SS means switch shuttles (change to the other shuttle). SLT means shoe lace trick which translates as 'tie a knot'!!! The legs don't attach to anything - they float. They are made by taking the thread round the last bead and back again as you can see on the destructions. I hope that helps but please don't hesitate to email me if you need further support. My email address is on my blog profile.
I would be worried cuz' where there are 2 spiders there are usually more. ;)
Great spiders!! :)
Oooooh, God's kid - I suppose you're right!!!!
Thank you, Jane! I'm going to try it. Wish me luck!
Me! I am the second person who asked for this pattern, I'm sure I am, Well...…. perhaps the second person on page 999 of all the people who requested it. I have thread and beds, but since I have not made earrings before, as I don't wear them, I now have to brave the heatwave to wend my way down the hill to Spotlight in search of the bits that will attach to the ear. Thank you for the spiders Jane!
