15 today

8th May 2006 is a date not to remember!!!  Least it is for me.

I was fiddling around with the blog a few days ago and noticed that tomorrow will be my 15th anniversary of when I started nattering to all and sundry somewhere 'out there'.

It still fascinates me that people 'listen/read' my ramblings - I certainly don't!!!!!!

This is the first post I ever made and I'm still wondering why I'm here but I still keep talking to myself (it IS a sign of insanity I'm sure!).

well, I for one wish I had known this blog when it first started, and I am pretty sure I am not alone!

Happy 15th Birthday, here's to many many more!

Congratulations! That’s been a big commitment, keeping a blog going for so long. So many others just fade away.

As Maureen said, it is a big commitment. Just think of all the tatters you've inspired!

Great start to your blog!! And that motif was perfect for a first post!!
Thanks for being an inspiration on my tatting journey!!! :)

Thanks, lovestoswatch, Maureen and Diane. I really keep the blog going so I’ve got a record of what I’ve done!!! I much prefer blogging to Facebook where things are ‘lost’ within a few minutes/hours. I also feel that I can say what I want on the blog as it’s ‘my’ space. Wish more people would blog or come back to blogging.

Jane, I always appreciate your blog. If I have a technique question your blog is the first one I check for instruction. Your natterings are truly inspirational.

Congratulations Jane! Your blog is my first go to each morning as I eat breakfast. And I love all the blogs that you follow too. Thanks to everyone!

Thanks, Bev. I try to keep myself amused with the blog as it’s my main way of contacting the world!!!! A great way to keep a record of what I’m doing too!!!

Congratulations on 15 years of blogging. I enjoy all your posts, even the 'moaning' ones. Your patterns and techniques pages are so helpful and inspiring, and your blog is one of the first things I look at when I sit at the computer each day. I'm SO glad you're still blogging. I hope you keep it up for at least another 15 (or more) years.
