I simply didn’t have time to blog last week - everything seemed to decide to happen last week and the week before.
BUT I did have time to get a good way into a TIAS for next January. Autumn is heading our way so there’ll be less to do to the garden - although I don’t do a lot anyway! I enjoy mowing the grass but do little else apart from pulling weeds. I mow a neighbour’s grass for them too and get some really odd looks when taking my mower along the road to their house. One person I met walking the mower stopped and made a funny comment so I pointed out that other people walk their dogs so why shouldn’t I take a mower out for a walk.
Obviously I’ve not a lot to share due to the TIAS but I do have a few things this week.

Well, as long as your absence is because you’re busy, it’s all good. My absence is because we’re getting very long power outages. Tomorrow, fingers crossed. By this time of the day I’m happy to read blogs but not write them. I guess the person you told you were taking the lawnmower for a walk went away shaking their head!
Too funny about you taking your mower for a walk! We have a man in our community who has a great sense of humor, and he uses his mower in an unusual manner each year when we get our first snow. Last week, we had a snow that was sticking on the ground, so he got out his mower and pushed it along as if he was still mowing his lawn along with pushing the snow. It does look funny!

Question is.... do you let the mower have afternoon tea breaks???? I wonder if the dahlia is a clue to the TIAS??? VBG
