I don't think I ever got round to showing you the finished jumper I was knitting but here's a link to show you when it was 'almost' there.
I've worn it a LOT since I finished it and am currently researching knitting another. Next time I want something more challenging and interesting and also including 'short rows' as I want more 'shaping' at the top.
I had leftovers from this jumper so have decided to knit a shawl or cowl or something with that. As I have little experience with 'how far it'll go' this is going to be an interesting experiment. If I'm not pleased with it I can easily undo it again and start over. This is what it looks like at the moment!!!!

Looks great, I like those V stripes. Yes, that's the advantage of knitting over tatting, so much easier to undo.
Ravelry is a deep dark wormhole, if that’s where you are doing your research! I get lost there and rarely find what I want.
Your leftover wool has already turned into an adequately- sized triangular scarf, it might not stretch to a shawl unless you have a lot more of it.
I am all knitted out. Seven beanies, four baby blankets and two grandchild- jumpers have more than adequately scratched that itch for now
I agree about Ravelry, Maureen but once you find the right filters it's not so bad. Saves a LOT of money on petrol going round the shops (IF you can find any) that may sell patterns!!! After that photo I'd got another full 100 grams left so it's going to be 'about that size'!!!! Once I've done my next project I won't want to knit again for a while!!!
I do like the yarn you're using! I haven't had my fill of knitting yet. It's easier on my fingers in the colder weather. Tatting still gives me the most pleasure!
