Sashiko progress

If you take a look at this post you’ll see what a group of us are doing on a Tuesday morning with Neighbours and Needles.  We’re using a technique called Sashiko and you can find out all about it here.

This is my one side of the bag but I’m not sure if I’ve finished it or not!!!

It looks great! I have a Sashiko project tucked away somewhere. It's something I've been meaning to try for years.

Lovely! That's become quite popular in this area as well, but is something I haven't tried yet. I did do my first bobbin lace spiders today, though!

I watched a demonstration by a well- known Japanese artist at a Craft show,,it was very interesting. She said you don’t worry too much about neatening the inside.
But I missed theMonday Moan this week!
